On the first day of the Finance Symposium in Mannheim, which focuses on treasury management systems, Julien Muet, Head of Corporate Treasury at TUEV Rheinland Group presented his newly organised treasury management system landscape.
Only about 12 months after TUEV decided on a combination of Trinity (treasury management) and Broadridge FinMApp (global bank communication hub), the system is in productive use.
In his presentation, Muet particularly addressed the important prerequisites for the success of such an extensive project. Based on the maxim that the financial risks (liquidity, interest, currency and fraud) of the group determine the target range, he gave the following recommendations for action:
- Think in terms of processes and use standard processes as a starting point. Without exception!
- Create the internal know-how and select the "pearls" among the external consultants.
- When selecting a system, look for integration, automation, technology and security.
The TUEV Rheinland Group is active in 52 countries at over 500 locations and has linked the new solution to an integrated system with automated data exchange also from and to the ERP.
This year at the 34th Finance Symposium, Trinity has again seen a lot of interest in its intuitive software solutions.
With 1000 tulips, fresh accents were repeatedly added to the trade fair presentation.
A year earlier, Vitesco Technologies had presented its newly implemented global Trinity solution at the symposium
